Working Bouviers in Michigan

Police departments in the Detroit metropolitan area have a history of being one of the earliest law enforcement agencies in the United States to on-board working Bouviers. By the 1980s, they were also using Bouvies for community outreach with officers - not restricted to being crime fighting canines.

Also, in the Detroit area, Bonded Guard Services trained and used Bouviers for work in the armored car, bank transport services, and as private security/protection officers.
